What a year! 2019 was not filled with many unforgettable events like 2018 but it sure was a real journey. A journey of self-discovery, although I feel like I should mention that I still don't have it all figured out just yet but I'm getting there.
Hi Britzies, I know this post is a little late as we are now officially 14 days into the new year but I thought I'd post it anyway because it's always good to reflect.
What a year! 2019 was not filled with many unforgettable events like 2018 but it sure was a real journey. A journey of self-discovery, although I feel like I should mention that I still don't have it all figured out just yet but I'm getting there. I guess we all go through those phases in life where we feel like we need to find ourselves again. It might be because we were feeling a little lost, we don't know where our lives are heading or it might be that we went through something that changed us so much that we do not recognize ourselves anymore.
I've never thought of this as a bad thing though, I personally feel like it means that you're growing, evolving and that is so important in life. You will never be the same person that you were when you came into this world and that is all just part of life's journey.
So my hope for this year is to continue on this journey of self-discovery, to learn to let go of things that I cannot control and to live a little more in the moment because at the end of it all it's those moments that count the most!
