Twenty Eighteen

Like many people out there I do look at a new year as a new beginning, another chance to get it all right but I am also wiser. I know that I will have to face new challenges and I know that not every day will be a great one.

I cannot believe this year is almost over. So much has happened to me this year both good and bad. I became a mom to the most amazing human. I got to see Beyoncé and Jay Z live at the Global Citizen Concert. I finally cut out a very toxic relationship. I faced many personal challenges that affected many other aspects of my life as well. To be honest there were many times this year where I felt so defeated like I hit rock bottom and I did not have the strength to get back up again but here I am writing this post looking forward to a brighter tomorrow.

Like many people out there I do look at a new year as a new beginning, another chance to get it all right but I am also wiser. I know that I will have to face new challenges and I know that not every day will be a great one. So, my goal for 2019 will be to find the silver lining in everything that I go through. To be more grateful for all that I have been blessed with but most importantly I want to be so full of love that every word and every thought that comes from me will soothe my soul and the souls of everyone I encounter.

Wishing you all a blessed new year.

"Make this last weekend of 2018 special. Make it about loving yourself for all you have got through this year, for the fact that you are still standing and have so much still to enjoy, explore and express about yourself."

Much love my Britzie’s XOXO

I aim to share with you my experiences on life's challenges while trying to mom like a boss, my interests and a dash of inspiration.
