I once held on to a grudge for so long, I forgot how the conflict actually started.
I let the anger build an entire city in my hands and I was the Mayor for more years than I'm comfortable admitting.
Since then I've realized that this kind of rage is not worth its carry
and forgiveness is a little hard to find, but it's the only town I want to live in.
It's quiet here
and the real estate is cheaper.
A poem by Rudy Francisco
Hey my Britzie's yesterday a friend of mine posted this poem and I was moved by it. Simply because I can relate to it so much. So many of us harbor on to our feelings of hurt and resentment. It is not because we want to feel this way but simply because letting go is not always easy. It takes time and sometimes we need to come to the realization that we need to let go for ourselves to find true inner peace. If you are struggling to let something go just like I am right now. Remember, there’s no need to force it or rush it. Just welcome your emotions. The forgiveness will come eventually with time and when you're ready.
Much love my Britzie’s XOXO
