Feeling like I'm caught between a rock and a hard place so I thought hey why not share something a little more fun, so here are 10 weird and not so weird facts about me.

Hey Britzie's, I hope you are all well and winning at life!. I have been going through a bit of a funk these past two weeks. There are so many things that I want to write about and share but I'm not completely sure I'm ready to speak about some of these things just yet which has now led to me feeling like I'm caught between a rock and a hard place so I thought hey why not share something a little more fun, so here are 10 weird and not so weird facts about me. Happy Reading my loves

1. I was expelled from nursery school (LOL)

I was a pretty aggressive kid but even more so when I felt bullied. I often wonder what happened to that feisty little girl, I needed her when I was older haha. It was a school outing and I remember I had on white shoes and there was a girl in my class that had been picking on me for weeks, I was the new girl so I already felt so out of place and on that particular day she said something and I snapped. I remember 5 year old me getting up walking to the opposite side of the room and kicking her in the face. Her front teeth fell out, needless to say, the principle of the nursery school called my parents told them what happened and said that they should find me another school.

2. I'm an extrovert but meeting new people makes me anxious

Weird I know, I sometimes find myself completely avoiding eye contact. I guess I just don't really like putting myself out there but once I hit it off with someone I become super comfortable. People have often told me that they thought I was a snob or unapproachable and once they started speaking to me they realized I was the total opposite.

3. I'm not a confrontational person

I guess this stems from feeling emotionally bullied for a long time from people and even at home. I also know just how much words can hurt and I dislike being confronted because something always gets said that cannot be taken back. I prefer having a second to think about what I'm about to say and being in control of my temper, something I can't do when being confronted.

4. I found my biological mother on Facebook

I had been looking for my biological mother for years and once I received some personal information about her I in-boxed pretty much everyone with the same name, surname and residential area until one day I received the response I had been looking for.

5. I'm a total marshmallow

I'm a super emotionally sensitive person. You know the type that cries when someone else cries or the type that sits with a box of tissues when watching videos on Facebook about rescue dogs. My psychologist once told me that it's because I'm an empath. Well, it's either that or I have an overactive tear duct haha.

6. I used to be a little too spontaneous

I was always a very spontaneous person especially when I was younger the only issue was that I would do something and only think it through much later. The one incident that makes me shake my head the most was a good few years back. I was waiting for friends of mine to come back from a party that they had all gone to and I was sitting in the lobby of our hotel and this random guy approached me, he looked pretty innocent and lonely and he asked if I wanted to go with him to go and get a coffee and I was like yes sure OK. Only later on did I realize what a terrible idea that was. My phone was dead, no one knew where I was and I was alone with a total stranger, so I lied to him and said my family was freaking out about me leaving the hotel and we had to get back asap. He was actually a really nice guy that genuinely just wanted some company but it could have ended very differently. I think this one incident pretty much scared the spontaneity out of me.

7. I can't stay mad at anyone.

No matter how much anyone hurts or upsets me I can't stay mad at anyone. I always used to make amends with people because I hated not being OK with anyone in my life. Now that I'm older I just let the anger go but I know that my life is just better without some people in it. Our paths were meant to cross and go their separate ways and I'm OK with that.

8. I'm obsessed with all things Korean

This little fact is all thanks to my friend Shaylene for introducing me to the world of K dramas. After my very first series, I was pretty much obsessed with all things Korean. When I say obsessed I mean that Ramen noodles have pretty much become my staple diet and I'm already planning my dream trip to Korea which will obviously include a shopping and eating spree!!

9. I read magazines from the back to the front and when I read books I read the ending before I start the book.

I actually didn't realize that I did this until someone once pointed it out to me. I'm also a sucker for happy endings, so if I don't like the ending of the book I won't really read it. Anticipation is also not a friend of mine. I know a lot of people feel like that pretty much ruins things for them but I don't mind knowing things beforehand at all.

10. For most of my life, I preferred guy friends over girlfriends.

I guess this was because I was a tomboy for such a long time that even when I became a little more feminine I could not relate to other females since I was still so far behind. I also had some pretty terrible experiences with female friends. Although I must say it wasn't always easy being the girl with all the guy friends because it has its stigmas attached to it and other females always felt the need to tell me what they thought about me. I did have a few female friends that I was closer to when I was younger, I'm pretty sure it's because they were all pretty much in the same boat as me. Now that I am older I do have a lot more female friends than before but it took time and a bunch of phenomenal ladies who helped restore my trust in the female population once again.

Much love my Britzie’s XOXO
