How To: Let Go

Writer's picture: thebritzpostthebritzpost

Forgive yourself for your part in how things ended, just like you forgave them so many times.

Hi Britzies, So as you all know from the post that I shared yesterday I've been dealing with some stuff and during that time I found this, coincidental? Mmm I don't think so. It helped me so much that I just had to share it. Sending you love and light, happy reading my loves.

  1. Remember: it's okay to outgrow people, places, and things. It's okay for them to outgrow you too.

  2. Allow yourself to grieve the loss of what you're letting go of. You can't heal what you don't let yourself feel.

  3. Ask yourself: Is what I'm holding on to also holding on to me? Answer honestly

  4. Forgive yourself for your part in how things ended, just like you forgave them so many times.

  5. Ask yourself: Why am I still holding on? Does it truly feel good or is it just familiar?

  6. Remember: Relationships don't need to last forever to serve their purpose.

  7. Sometimes the only closure you'll get is accepting that the past can't change and that's okay.

  8. Remember: Letting go is also letting in. Making room for something new is always hard but it's worth it.

Much love my Britzie’s XOXO
